Omnirad 819 DW (Former Irgacure 819DW) by IGM Resins is a dispersion of 45% bis-acylphosphine oxide in water. Acts as photoinitiator for radical polymerization of unsaturated resins upon light exposure. It is especially suited for the curing of pigmented waterborne polyurethane dispersions (PUDs), the daylight curing of PUD-based clear coats, and for use in combination with light stabilizers. Other possible uses of Omnirad 819 DW includes thick section curing, emulsion-type and 100% UV systems.
