Omnirad 380 by IGM Resins is a versatile photoinitiator used to initiate radical polymerization of unsaturated oligomers e.g. acrylates, after exposure to UV light.

It can be used in combination with mono- or multi-functional monomers as reactive diluents.
It is designed for UV curable coating and ink formulations based on acrylates.
It is suitable for through and LED cure.
It is applicable for clear, white, pigmented and water-based systems.
Due to its photosensitivity at longer wavelengths, it can be used in combination with UV absorbers, making it useful for outdoor weather resistant applications.
It is used as the sole initiator.
It is applicable for paper, wood, plastic, metal, glass, optical and clear coatings.
The recommended addition level of 0.1 - 1.5% by weight of formulation.
Omnirad 380 has a shelf life of 36 months.
