Esacure KTO 46 by IGM Resins acts as a photoinitiator. It is a stable mixture of trimethylbenzoyldiphenylphosphine oxide, a-hydroxy ketones and benzophenone derivatives.

It is particularly indicated for the photopolymerization of UV curable pigmented systems when high reactivity, low curing odor and low yellowing are required.
It is suitable for through, surface and LED cure.
It shows a good performance in visible light.
It is designed for clear, white, pigmented and water-based systems.
It is used in wood, plastic & metal coatings and printing inks such as silk screen, offset, gravure, lithographic inks.
The recommended addition level is between 3 and 8% by weight and depends on system composition, thickness, and desired cure-speed.
Esacure KTO 46 has a shelf life of 12 months.
