HALOX® XTAIN® A

HALOX® XTAIN® A by ICL is a multi-valent tannin stain inhibiting pigment. It is designed for exterior architectural wood coatings. It is barium & antimony-free, white, non-refractive aluminum zirconium phosphosilicate-based inhibitor used in protective coating systems.

• It provides a high level of performance and compatibility in a variety of resin systems such as styrene-butadiene latexes, acrylic latexes, vinyl acrylic latexes and solvent-based alkyds.
• It is also used in water-based systems.
• It is effective at very low loading levels.
• The dosage level of HALOX® XTAIN® A is 1-3% based on total formula weight.
• It has a shelf life of 36 months.
