Isobutyl isobutyrate by Hunan Kekairui Materials Technology is a biodegradable and environmentally friendly solvent. It is a colorless liquid with a fruity aroma. It has slow evaporation rate, strong solubility, and extremely low toxicity. It can be used as a substitute for PMA in many coating applications. The replacement level of nitrocellulose in wood coatings can be at least 50%. It is used in high-end paints such as plastic paints. Isobutyl isobutyrate can be used as a partial replacement for DIBK.
