Intelli-ion® AX1 extra fine by Hexigone is an acidic, organic, chemically intelligent corrosion inhibitor. It is used in primer paints for the protection of metal surfaces.

It is recommended for waterborne coatings and solvent-borne epoxy-, alkyd-, polyester-, polyurethane- & acrylic resin systems.
It allows reduced toxic chemical handling risks at production facilities.
Intelli-ion® AX1 extra fine is also suitable for other coatings and corrosion defense uses.
The optimum loading levels are resin type & film thickness dependent, and are between 2-7% by weight.
