SYLOID® 244

SYLOID® 244 by Grace is a fine particle size, synthetic amorphous silica. Acts as a matting agent, particularly in thin film coating systems and free-flow additive. Imparts excellent surface smoothness to the coating film after adequate dispersion. Suitable for use in artificial and natural coatings, thin film coatings for plastic, thin film coatings for decorative plastic or paper foils and printing inks. It has a shelf life of 12 months. SYLOID® 244 can adsorb up to 1.6 ml of liquid per gram.
