Active adduct of an alkoxy functional silane and an alkylene oxide polymer. Can be cohydrolyzed with silanes to yield siloxane resins or fluids containing polyoxyalkylene (polyol) moity. Used to improve wetting and leveling of coatings. Offers antifog and anti-static properties. Improves surface lubricity of applied silicone resin coatings.
