ZEOLEX® 330

ZEOLEX® 330 by Evonik acts as a cost-effective titanium dioxide extender (on both sides of CPVC) and gloss sheen control agent. It is a synthetic amorphous sodium aluminosilicate powder. It offers excellent whiteness and brightness. Below CPVC, the particles of (0.1 to 0.5 microns) work as a spacer/extender for TiO2. Above CPVC, the structure based on the particle size building blocks functions as an effective light scattering material to increase opacity and compensate for a reduced titanium dioxide content. It exhibits chemical inertness, improved scrub resistance and superior performance in flattening. It improves matting, reduces titanium dioxide loading by up to 25%, optimizes particle distribution and imparts excellent touch up performance. ZEOLEX® 330 is suitable for solvent-borne and water-borne paints and coatings. It is used for interior architectural coatings.
