TEGO® Guard 9000

TEGO® Guard 9000 by Evonik is a solvent-free, functional protecting agent. It is an organically modified branched polysiloxane emulsion. It improves the stabilization of paint ingredients and provides fast weather resistance and longer lasting protection in buildings. It is applicable for various substrates and is suitable for environmentally friendly waterborne facade coatings.

• Offers low dirt pick-up, improved durability and hydrophobicity.
• It promotes electrostatic interaction between a cationic organic polymer and the anionic paint ingredients in the coating formulation.
• It exhibits quick-set property which enables high rain resistance just a few minutes after application.
• It can be used universally in terms of binder chemistry, paints PVC and coloristic properties.
• TEGO® Guard 9000 is used in decorative exterior wall paints, architectural paints, breathable facade- & concrete coatings, and DIY paints for brush, spray & roller applications.
• The recommended dosage level is 1-8%.
• It has a shelf life of 24 months.
