EXP 8018-1

EXP 8018-1 by Evonik is a wax-treated, matting agent. It is very-fine particle sized experimental product based on precipitated silica. It possesses excellent dispersibility behavior and a very fine cut of grindometer value. This product provides very high compatibility. It offers high transparency and super fine surface haptics. EXP 8018-1 shows matting efficiency, viscosity effect and sedimentation behavior. It was developed for anti-settling stability. It is suitable for water-borne, solvent-borne, 2-pack, clear & pigmented coatings. This additive is also partly suitable for radiation-curing and high solids coatings. Recommended for plastic-, wood- and general industrial coatings. The recommended addition level on total formulation is 1.5-7.0 %. The shelf life of this product is 24 months.
