DEGACRYL® HS 4240 D by Evonik is a binder for aqueous heat sealing lacquers with direct adhesion for sealing aluminum foils versus PVC and polystyrene. It is an aqueous emulsion of a thermoplastic acrylic resin. It is suitable for pharmaceutical blister and food packaging applications. It complies with FDA 21 CFR 175.105 regulations. The shelf life of DEGACRYL® HS 4240 D is 12 months.
