ANCAMINE® 3222

Ancamine® 3222 by Evonik is an adduct of a solid epoxy resin with ethylene diamine at 55 wt% solids in xylene/butanol/methoxy propanol (4:1:4 w/w). Acts as a curing agent. It provides high chemical resistance in combination with novolac epoxy resins. Offers fast lacquer-dry cure speed, good flexibility, excellent corrosion resistance and good hot water resistance. It is used in high solids coatings, marine & industrial protective coatings, primers, finishes and tank linings applications. Recommended dosage level of Ancamine® 3222 is 75 phr with bisphenol-A diglycidyl ether (EEW=190). It has a shelf life of 24 months.
