K-FLEX® 500P

K-FLEX® 500P by Emerald Performance Materials is a polar dibenzoate plasticizer. It provides improved scrub, high gloss, excellent blocking and reduces volatile organic compounds. It is highly recommended for acrylic- & nitrocellulose lacquers, interior- & exterior latex paints, industrial- & special purpose coatings. K-FLEX® 500P will offer the paint formulator a viable option to more volatile coalescents such as 2,2,4-trimethyl-1,3-pentadiol monoisobutyrate or even low VOC types such as triethylene glycol di-2-ethylhexanoate. It can be safely used in paper and paperboard coatings in contact with dry foods, aqueous and fatty foods. Complies with FDA listing 21 CFR 175.105, 21 CFR 176.170 and 21 CFR 176.180.
