Slip-ayd® SL 551

Slip-ayd® SL 551 by Elementis is a dispersion of high melt polyethylene wax in aromatic 100/n-butanol solvents. It provides exceptional resistance to abrasion, blocking and has improved slip properties. It is used in industrial, coil, plastic coatings, wood finishes and auto OEM and refinish.

It does not interfere with inter-coat adhersion no reagglomeration during storage.
Slip-ayd® SL 551 has a shelf life of 4 years from the date of manufacture.
