Slip-ayd® SL 417

Slip-ayd® SL 417 by Elementis is a hard polymeric wax dispersion (will not recrystallize, gel or settle on aging). It provides excellent slip and good block resistance, very little effect on gloss. Mixed easily into a coating at any point of manufacture, including final let down.

• It can also be post-added with simple stirring to correct a problem in a finished coating.
• Slip-ayd® SL 417 should always be mixed before use to break down the thixotropy and promote easy addition.
• It is used in solvent-based, waterborne, automotive refinishing, interior protection coats, wood & furniture and coil Coatings.
• Recommended usage level is 0.25-1%.
