Levaslip 866

Levaslip 866 by Elementis is modified polysiloxane-based leveling agent. It is an additive to increase mar resistance and to improve slip as well as surface flow. It provides good substrate wetting. It prevents surface defects and cratering.

• It shows good compatibility with mostly resins such as acrylic/ melamine, alkyd/ melamine, polyester/ melamine, nitrocellulose and polyurethane.
• It is used in paints, inks, solvent-based coatings.
• Recommended usage level is 0.1-0.5% based on total formulation.
• Levaslip 866 has a shelf life of 18 months.
