Hypomer MT-2550K

Hypomer MT-2550K by Elementis is a functional matting agent based on hydroxyl acrylic copolymer. It exhibits good scratch resistance, good weather resistance, easy incorporation with good touch feel. It has more environmentally friendly solvent composition.

• It provides better clarity and transparency than conventional 2K PU coatings formulated with matting agents e.g. silica.
• It is based on special chemical reaction process to generate crosslink particle during the reaction and provide matting effect and other benefits better than silica based matting coatings.
• It possesses homogenous gloss level over a wide range of dry film thickness leads to a wider application window.
• It is used in paints, inks, transportation-, wood-, industrial-, and plastic coatings.
• Hypomer MT-2550K has a shelf life of 12 months from date of manufacture.
