Dapro® DFC-17 by Elementis is an organic/reacted Silica. Acts as a strong, non-dispersible defoamer/anti-foaming agent. Compatible with vinyl/acrylic and 100% acrylic resins. Primarily recommended for waterborne architectural (flat to semi-gloss) latex paints. Dapro® DFC-17 is also used in traffic paints.
