Bentone Gel® 1

Bentone Gel® 1 by Elementis is a predispersed Bentone® 34 gel rheological additive for aliphatic/aromatic solvent-based systems. It is more effective than a simple Bentone® pregel, as it provides immediate full thixotropic effect with no after bodying or viscosity drift on aging.

• It improves pigment suspension, sag resistance and reduces penetration, flooding & floating.
• It is used in alkyd paints, inks, stains & varnishes and maintenance paint systems.
• Recommended dosage level is 10-20 lbs.
• Bentone Gel® 1 has a shelf life of 4 years.
