TR-379

TR-379 distributed by DKSH is a regular free radical photoinitiator. It is especially used for UV curing inks because of its high absorptivity. It has high initiation activity and good deep curing effect. It is used to initiate the polymerization of unsaturated resins and monomers.

It can be used in combination with photoinitiators such as 184 or 651 in UV curing inks and varnishes for paper, metal, and plastic.
It can be used in combination with other photoinitiators, especially for photocuring of colored systems such as blue and black systems.
It is also used in coatings application.
It has peak absorption wavelengths of 233nm and 320nm.
