Defom 6500

Defom 6500 distributed by DKSH is a bubble releasing, modified polysiloxane-based defoamer. It prevents foaming of solvent-based coatings caused by mechanical force such as mixing, production and application.
  • It exhibits excellent anti-foaming function in dipping coatings.
  • It is incorporated before grinding or processing to achieve optimum effect.
  • Where post-addition is necessary, it is recommended to incorporate Defom 6500 with sufficient mixing.
  • It is used in solvent-free epoxy coatings.
  • Recommended dosage level is 0.1-1.0% based on total formulation.
  • It has a shelf life of 12 months and is available in China, Taiwan, Sweden, Denmark, Norway and Iceland.
