AP 1041X80

AP 1041X80 distributed by DKSH is a medium viscosity reactive, mannich- based amine hardener for epoxy resins based lacquers and coatings.

It is suitable for low temperature cure and has high level of mechanical stability.
It shows good adhesion to marginally prepared surfaces and resistance to aqueous alkaline, corrosion, acid and saline solutions.
Due to phenolic nature of this grade coatings based on it are likely to change color of the film when exposed to heat and sunlight.
It is used in combination with liquid- or solid epoxy resin solution or epoxy resin modified by means of reactive as well as non-reactive diluents.
Recommended for making high solids coating compositions with a workable wide range of pot lives.
It can be used for application with standard one-component airless spray systems.
It is designed for marine and protective coatings e.g. , structural steel , concrete flooring etc.
It can be used in combination with polyamides and other hardeners.
The shelf life of AP 1041X80 is 12 months.
