Deuteron® MM 682

Combination of organic and inorganic materials. Acts as a matting agent. Despite its organic components, it remains thermally stable up to 200 °C even over a rather long time. In case of a short-time exposure, the product can also bear substantially higher temperatures, in particular when the particles are embedded in the coating film. Does not contain any wax additives, thus coating layers equipped with it are not expected to cause any adhesion problems in multi-layer systems or repair coat-ings. The matting effect induced with DEUTERON MM 682 is highly resistant to mechanical influences ("polishing" or abra-sion). Suits for all common coil-coating systems, conventional high-quality stove enamels and a variety of applications, preferably in pigmented paints and lacquers. Dosage: For achieving silk-glossy to mat surfaces, a concentration between 5 % and 9 % (referring to the total formulation) is recommended.
