DELTA DC® 3009

DELTA DC® 3009 by Delta Specialities acts as a multi-purpose high molecular weight wetting and dispersing agent. It is based on modified polyurethane. It prevents reflocculation of pigments through steric hindrance and therefore stabilizes the color strength and hue of pigments in paints and pigment concentrates. It improves pigment wetting, reduces the time required for the grinding process and improves gloss and leveling. It does not influence paint binder durability due to its high molecular weight and resin-like structure. It is suitable for acrylic resin, alkyd resin, chlorinated rubbers, solvent-based and solvent-free epoxy resin. DELTA DC® 3009 is used in industrial coatings, resin containing pigment concentrates, wood and furniture coatings and coatings based on acrylic/melamine.
