NeoCryl® AP-2861 by Covestro is an APEO-free, silicone-modified anti-foaming- and de-aerating agent. It is delivered as 20% solids in white spirit/water (9/7). It is developed for water-based coating systems which are applied by curtain coating, spraying, dipping, brushing, roller coating or flexo and gravure techniques. It is also suitable for solvent-based systems. The shelf life of NeoCryl® AP-2861 is 6 months.
