Viscoatex™ 730 by Coatex (Arkema Group) is an acrylic copolymer in aqueous emulsion. It is a synthetic alkali swellable, solvent-free and liquid thickener.

It is highly effective to increase low shear viscosities as well as yield values.
It is an easy to handle as sole product or in combination with a leveling agent.
It allows to adjust viscosities at low shear rates, to avoid settling and sagging.
Recommended dosage level is 0.05-0.3% in heavily-filled paint formulations and 0.2-0.6% in wood stains.
Viscoatex™ 730 improves the storage stability and has a shelf life of 6 months.
