Hostapur® OS liquid by Clariant is an alpha-olefin sulfonate (sodium salt in aqueous solution). Acts as an emulsifier, wetting agent and dispersing agent. It is readily biodegradable, APEO-free and has low-VOC. Used in styrene / butadiene latex, styrene / butadiene rubber and acrylate and styrene / acrylate dispersions. Hostapur® OS liquid is listed on AICS, DSL, EINECS, ENCS, IECSC, KECI, NECI, NZIoC, PICCS and TSCA inventory.
