Chemguard S-760P

Ammonia neutralized phosphate ester. Chemguard S-760P acts as a short chain C-6 perfluoro telomer. It exhibits surface tensions as low as 16 dynes/cm in water at very low concentrations, allowing for rapid attainment of low equilibrium surface tensions. Provides excellent wetting, spreading, leveling, and flow control properties on various types of water-based coatings formulations. It is also low foaming, can provide improved dirt pick-up resistance to exterior paints, interior low gloss paints and stains. Moreover it is low foaming, excellent for wetting contaminated or difficult to coat surfaces. Minimizes surface defects such as cratering and fisheyes, imparts excellent anti-blocking characteristics, provides oil repellence to water-based stains and is an excellent replacement of FSP, FS-60, and FS-63. Uses include formulations for architectural paints, wood stains, concrete coatings, industrial coatings, inks, as well as aqueous hydrocarbon surfactant solutions.
