Curran® CV5000

Curran® CV5000 by Cellucomp is a cellulose fiber derived from root crops. It is based on novel fiber technology. It is green and multifunctional and can be used as a film enhancer. Provides up to 50% reduction of micro cracking and up to 200% improvement of mud crack resistance. It also reduces film defects. Offers improved opacity resulting in up to 6% reduction in titanium dioxide and in some cases extended open time. It enables up to 90% reduction of coalescing solvents resulting in reduced odor and VOC. Curran® CV5000 can bring improved performance and result in cost savings. It also retains stability in a wide range of pH levels to make formulating easier. Used in water-based interior and exterior architectural paints, industrial coatings and plaster-type materials, including stucco. Recommended addition levels ranges between 1 and 3 %.
