CAB-O-SIL® TS-5022

CAB-O-SIL® TS-5022 by Cabot is a hydrophobic, fumed silica with surface treated with hexamethyldisilazane (HMDZ). Acts as a rheology modifier, anti-sagging and flow/ levelling agent. Possesses high purity, aggregated structure, submicron particle size and low bulk density. Offers anti-settling of pigments & fillers, excellent film appearance including high clarity & gloss, low orange peel and low solvent popping. Promotes a smooth coated surface. CAB-O-SIL® TS-5022 is recommended for clear automotive and industrial coatings applications.
