RHEOBYK-L 1400 VF (formerly OPTIFLO-L 1400) by BYK is a VOC free, aqueous solution rheology modifier. It efficiently increasing the viscosity in the high shear range.

It is designed to thicken dispersion (latex) paints.
It improves or increases the brushability.
RHEOBYK-L 1400 VF may be used in architectural, wood and furniture coatings.
Recommended dosage level is 0.5-3% based upon total formulation.
It offers a greater layer thicknesses, along with an excellent balance between the flow properties and leveling.
It has a shelf life of 18 months.
