BYK® -3942 P

BYK® -3942 P by BYK acts as an adhesion promoter and substrate wetting agent. It is a high molecular weight copolymer with basic adhesive groups, adsorbed on silicon dioxide. It contains adhesive groups for critical substrates and improves adhesion after immersion in water. It is compatible with epoxy, polyester, and polyurethane resin as well as polyester/epoxy resin combinations. It is developed for powder coatings for non-metallic substrates. Its recommended dosage level is 0.5-3% based on the total formulation. BYK® -3942 P has a shelf life of 36 months.
