BYK® -3780

BYK® -3780 by BYK acts as a flow and leveling additive. It is SVHC label-free aralkyl-modified polymethylalkylsiloxane. It is silicone-based surface additive that causes slight reduction in surface tension and slight increase in surface slip. It offers defoaming properties and shows thermostablility up to 250 °C. It is recommended for all solvent-borne coatings. Its addition level is 0.01-0.4% based on the total formulation. BYK® -3780 has a shelf life of 60 months.
