BYK® -346

BYK®-346 by BYK is a standard silicone-based additive to improve the substrate wetting of aqueous systems. It is a solution of polyether-modified polysiloxane. It provides a strong reduction in surface tension. It offers good flow and leveling as well as no foam stabilization. It does not increase surface slip and impair re-coatability. BYK®-346 is used in aqueous coatings, printing inks and overprint varnishes. It is suitable for food contact coatings. Its dosage level is 0.1-1%. It has a shelf life of 60 months. It complies with REACH regulations.
