BYK® -3420

BYK® -3420 by BYK is a SVHC label-free, silicone surfactant. It is hydrolytically stable and greatly reduces surface tension, particularly in the presence of organic cosolvents. The surface tension remains at the same level even after long-term storage of the inkjet inks. It offers good spreading behavior even on critical substrates such as non-polar and consequently improves the print quality. It is designed for aqueous inkjet inks and food contact printing inks applications. Its recommended dosage level is 0.1-1.5% based on the total formulation. BYK® -3420 has a shelf life of 36 months.
