BYK® -1765

BYK® -1765 by BYK is a solvent- and silicone-free acrylic defoamer for high-solid and solvent-free systems with suitability for epoxy systems. It is used particularly in thick film applications, where foam bubble rise and defoaming are a major challenge. It is highly effective against macro- and microfoam while maintaining good system compatibility.

• It is used in marine coating, protective coating, general indutrial- and floor coating.
• It shows no negative influence on recoatability and intercoat adhesion.
• It is easy to incorporate and can be added at any stage of the production process.
• It improves the functionality like the anti-corrosion properties in protective systems.
• Recommended dosage level is 0.3-2.0% based on the total formulation.
• BYK® -1765 has a shelf life of 36 months.
