BYK® -1745

BYK® -1745 by BYK is a VOC-free, silicone free, very effective, sustainable defoamer based on renewable vegetable derivatives that can replace finite raw materials such as mineral oils.

It is used in aqueous architectural coatings particularly for emulsion paints with a PVC range of 40 to 85% and for emulsion plasters.
It has no negative impact on the colorant acceptance and demonstrates a balanced compatibility.
It complies with globally applicable ecological standards and is suitable for preparing state-of-the-art environmentally friendly formulations.
It can generally be added at the start of the production process.
Recommended dosage level is 0.2-0.5% based on the total formulation.
BYK® -1745 has shelf life of 36 months.
