BYK® -1641

BYK® -1641 by BYK is a VOC- & mineral oil-free, silicone-containing, effective defoamer for aqueous systems. It can be used in the production and application of emulsion paints and plasters within a PVC range of 30-85.

• It is easy to handle, can also be post-added, and shows very good compatibility.
• It is very easy to incorporate and has an excellent price-performance ratio.
• It is especially recommended for architectural coatings, aqueous printing inks and overprint varnishes.
• It is also used in floor coatings, wood & furniture coatings and general industrial coatings.
• Recommended dosage level is 0.1-0.5% in coatings and 0.2-1% in inks.
• BYK® -1641 has a shelf life of 24 months.
