BYK® -1611

BYK® -1611 by BYK is a VOC-free, silicone-containing, highly effective, versatile defoamer for aqueous coatings systems. It can be added at any time during production. It is emulsion of foam-destroying polysiloxanes, hydrophobic solids and emulsifying agents.

• It is recommended for use in the production and application of emulsion paints and plasters within a PVC range of 35-70.
• It is cost effective ideal replacement for mineral oil defoamers.
• Recommended dosage level is 0.1-0.5% based on the total formulation.
• BYK® -1611 has a shelf life of 36 months.
