BYK® -034

BYK® -034 by BYK acts as a standard defoamer for aqueous systems. It is a mixture of paraffin-based mineral oil and hydrophobic components, containing silicone. It contains a small amount of a paint compatible silicone which enhances defoaming performance. Offers resistance to yellowing from ultra-violet radiation. Prevents foam during pigment grind and application. Exhibits no influence on the color development. BYK® -034 is used for emulsion paints, industrial emulsions, emulsion plasters, and aqueous printing inks and overprint varnishes. Its recommended dosage level is 0.1-0.5 %.
