LACTIMON® WS

LACTIMON® WS by BYK acts as a wetting and dispersing additive for water-reducible systems. It is a solution of a partially neutralized alkylolammonium salt of a polycarboxylic acid polymer and polysiloxane copolymer. It offers increased gloss and improved leveling. It prevents flooding and floating. It deflocculates the pigments. It helps to counteract the formation of Bénard cells and pigment striations. LACTIMON® WS does not contains alkyl phenol ethoxylates. It is used in aqueous coatings. Its recommended dosage level for titanium dioxide is 1.5-2.5 %, for filler is 0.8-1.2 % and for inorganic pigments is 5-10 %.
