Polysiloxane. It acts as a slip enhancing, flow promoting, and leveling agent. Helps in low foam stabilization. Offers reduced surface tension which leads to an even film formation. Increase in surface slip results in good anti-blocking and scratch resistance properties. Prevents cratering and pin holes. Provides substrate wetting. Improves air release properties through agglomeration of entrapped and embedded smaller air bubbles forming larger units which then rises to surface at a faster rate. Suitable for solvent-less paints. Applications include high quality clear and pigmented industrial (OEM and car repair) and decorative coatings. Dosage should be within 0.05-0.30% based on total formulation.
