Dispelair® CF 246

Dispelair® CF 246 by Blackburn Chemicals is a foam control agent and excellent defoamer for water-based coatings. It is used very successfully in low to high PVC systems and decorative emulsion paints. Also, used in some low gloss paints, paper coatings & plasters. It is effective over a wide range of pH values & temperatures and at low concentrations. This additive helps with process productivity and also shows low dispersibility in water. A typical addition level would be between 0.1% and 0.5% in total depending on the severity of the foam problem. Dispelair® CF 246 is SVHC Label free and complies with the indirect food contact regulations listed in 21 CFR: 176.210 & 175.105. The shelf life of this product is 12 months.
