Licity® 2680 series

Licity® 2680 series by BASF is a general purpose, sustainable anode binder solution customizable for increased performance for lithium-ion cells. Designed as water-borne, low VOC carboxylated styrene butadiene copolymers. Suitable for SiOx containing anodes and lithium-ion batteries that provide higher capacity and help reduce charging times. Exhibits balanced properties, high colloidal stability, superb compatibility with co-binders like CMC, very good processability and coating behavior. It could encourage more petrol car users to shift to electric mobility. Licity® 2680 series enables increased number of charge/ discharge cycles and prevents electrode swelling.
