Efka® PB 2744

Efka® PB 2744 by BASF is a ultra-low VOC, hazard label-free polymer based on small amount of silicone. Acts as an excellent defoamer. Offers fast and effective de-aeration. Provides long-term persistency and effectiveness against macro & micro-foam. It enhances levelling and surface smoothness while improving stability under shear stress and storage conditions. It is a colorless to slightly yellowish hazy liquid. Recommended for high solids (100%) and solvent-free systems such as epoxy & 2-pack polyurethane (PUR) systems for flooring applications. Further application areas include ultra-high solids industrial applications and UV applications. Efka® PB 2744 is especially designed for compositions which have to comply with latest construction norms (like AgBB).
