Chimassorb® 81

Chimassorb® 81 by BASF is a 2-hydroxy-benzophenone-based UV absorber. It shows low yellowing and good absorbance in the UV-B region. It reduces failure of coatings resulting from exposure to sunlight including discoloration, cracking, and loss of adhesion. It is suitable for waterproof and industrial coatings.
