Dextrol™ OC-40 by Ashland is an APEO-free, hydrophobic, phosphate ester of tridecyl alcohol ethoxylate. Acts as a dispersing agent, wetting agent and surfactant.

Offers improved gloss, color acceptance and water sensitivity.
Inhibits flash and nail head rusting and improves freeze-thaw resistance.
Imparts low coagulum in the finished latex and stabilizes it.
Enhances surface wetting and pigment dispersion.
Stabilizes emulsion in emulsion polymerization production of synthetic latex resins.
Dextrol™ OC-40 is suitable for waterborne architectural paints applications.
It is listed with SARA 311/312 Hazards, AUSTR (Australia), IECSC (China), ENCS (Japan), PICCS (Philippines), KECL (Korea), TSCA (USA) inventories and 29 CFR 1910.1200 (OSHA HazCom 2012) regulation.
