Aquaflow™ NMS-460E

Aquaflow™ NMS-460E by Ashland Specialty Chemical is a highly efficient, mid-shear, non-ionic synthetic associative thickener (NSAT). It also acts as a solvent-, tin-, and APEO-free rheology modifier. Designed for use in low-VOC formulations, wood coatings, industrial or brush-applied coatings and water-borne architectural/ decorative paints. Provides a balance of Stormer (KU) viscosity together with high shear (ICI), Newtonian behavior for exceptional brush and roll application. Improves allure, workability and hiding power. It can be used as a stand-alone thickening solution or a co-thickener and ICI-booster together with traditional cellulose derivatives. It delivers spatter resistant application with superior flow & levelling and full gloss development. Aquaflow™ NMS-460E is recommended for use across all sheens in most latex systems, including small particle size emulsions.
