easy-wet™ 400 by Ashland is a multifunctional, APEO-free, silicone-based tunable substrate wetting agent with low foaming properties. It is good cost in use with excellent wetting and flow behavior.

It exhibits good dynamic surface tension, strongly reducing static surface tension and helps to minimize defects in coating such as cratering & pin holing with no impact on gloss and excellent spreading.
It is compatible with a range of formulation additives.
It can be easily formulated with other ingredients in the coating formulations and works at very low shear forces without any compatibility issues.
It is suitable for difficult to wet applications.
easy-wet™ 400 is used in industrial/ specialty coating applications such as wood and metal coatings.
Recommended for use at 0.2-1.0% depending on the formulation.
